About Lark
Lark is a free fantasy role-playing game that runs entirely in your web browser — no download, no installer, and no account to create. Open the page and you are playing.
Inspired by the classic point-and-click adventure RPGs, Lark drops you into a large open world to explore at your own pace. You start in a cottage of your own on the edge of the capital city, step outside to meet a guide, and from there the realm is yours: rolling heartlands, snowy peaks, deserts, swamps, jungles, and a dangerous frontier where the toughest creatures roam.
What you can do
- Train a dozen skills — chop wood, mine ore, fish, cook, light fires, smith armour and weapons, craft, fletch, bind runes, brew potions, and pray.
- Fight and grow stronger — your weapon shapes how you train: one-handed favours Attack, two-handed favours Strength, and your Defence rises as you take hits.
- Explore and discover — caves, dungeons, ruins, standing stones, and hand-built landmark dungeons, each with their own loot and dangers.
- Take on quests — a guided main questline threads you through the world's hubs, with dozens of side quests and bounties along the way.
- Hunt rare enemies and bosses — from shimmering rare variants to named dungeon bosses and hand-authored world bosses with unique loot.
- Make a home — claim your bed as a respawn point, store your gear in your own chest, and cook at your hearth.
